The 12th Annual Bay Area Book Festival is happening May 31st in Downtown Berkeley. And it is a major event for Booksellers, Authors and Publishers. And I am really excited that Ashay By The Bay will be participating for the first time. In affiliation with the Berkeley Public Library, I will be curating books for 32 authors along with several other Independent Booksellers. This year’s theme is “Writing The Future” and it is open to everyone and it’s free to the Public.
My group of children’s book authors is diverse in their content and genres, will providing a rich cultural bonanza for readers of all ages. The event is May 29-May 31 and it is expected to draw over 25,000 people. Ashay By The Bay will be there too on May 31st only and we will be selling our African American and Multi Cultural Children’s Books. My booth and stage will be located at – Civic Center Park, 2151 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Berkeley, CA (Outdoors at the park)and the hours are 11 – 5pm. There will be tons of activities for readers of all ages including book signings, games, lectures and presentations. So please come out and join us.
