Here are 5 Key Points to Remember.

There is No COST to You to Support A Bookfair. Your order will not be affected and your personal information remains private. The school earns 10 to 15% commission on your Net Sales. Net Sales=(Total Sales – Discounts, Tax and S&H).
Locate and Enter the Book FairTracking Code of the fundraiser you wish to support. This code should be added at the checkout.
The more you purchase the more they earn.
If you wish to make a purchase and donate books to a teacher or school, please add the appropriate name and shipping address. To determine which books are needed, check with the school contact.

AAREA® is the culmination of ten years of work to support educational achievement among African American students with a focus on East Bay Area. James Madison Elementary School

Children's Day School

The 2026 CDS Book Fair will run February 23–March 6 and will support literacy efforts at home and around the world. In celebration of Black History Month, we are proud to partner with Ashay By The Bay and support a black-owned local bookstore dedicated to culturally relevant literature and literacy advocacy. And in honor of National Reading Month we are excited to donate books and funds to several incredible global and local literacy organizations and initiatives, including Access Books Bay Area and African Library Project. Each purchase will also raise funds for the CDS Teacher Classroom Book Wishlists.

Kim Garcia-Meza, the director of Escuelita Las Mananitas has been a longtime fan of Deborah Day and her amazing bookstore Ashay By The Bay. Deborah and her team have curated an astounding array of books from infant to college/adult, and our school library is filled with books we have purchased over the years. We hope our Online Book Fair from February 20th thru March 6th allows our preschool families as well as colleagues across the counry the opportunity to fall in love with some incredible books.
